Hi Dean,

I certainly would be interested, as my Great Grandmother is proving rather elusive.

Hello Martin,

If you are still interested I may be able to help. My late uncle Desmond Copson put together a family tree and I believe your great grandmother may be on that tree. Email me if you want me to find out more.

Regards

I am trying to reestablish contact with Laurence Cutler. Are you the same Laurence Cutler I knew in Enugu, Eastern Nigeria as a little girl? I am now Mrs Chichi Owanta, formerly Chichi Okorie, daughter of Goddy and Esther Okorie in Enugu, Nigeria where my father worked with you around 1974-75 in your company C-E Tech. I also visited your home in Boston Massachussetts in 1980 with my parents. Some years later, you replied my letter from Nigeria which was forwarded to your new address, after which we lost contact again. I studied Biochemistry and I am now married to Emenike Owanta, a lawyer. We are blessed with three boys and a girl. How is your family? Did you have more kids after Zach and his brother? I would like to restablish contact with you. Shalom.

I believe this is the area from which Ephriam Copson was born, and he later immigrated to the U.S. His son David Alington was the second husband of my Sarah A Bevins Nichols, who was from Hinkley area. Clyde Copson the artist was a child of the first marriage of David, but I do not know to whom he was married.

Can you confirm?
thanks
Linda

I am related to Clyde Copson but only learned of the connection recently. An artist myself (haven't quit my day job), I had no idea where the art genes came from until I learned of Clyde. We share the same great-grandfather. I would like to learn more about him. can help?

Good day! This is kind of off topic but I need some advice from an established blog. Is it very difficult to set up your own blog? I'm not very techincal but I can figure things out pretty fast. I'm thinking about making my own but I'm not sure where to begin. Do you have any tips or suggestions? Appreciate it

Ray I think I have the link between you and Muriel.

David Copson and Thomas Copson were brothers in the 1830's in Coventry.
Thomas Copson left for America in 1865 for Easthampton with Julia Copson his wife.
they produced 2 sons Ernest H and Harry N Copson.
Ernest H Copson who as you know was married to Elsie.
Back in Coventry, David Copson and his wife Hanna had 7 children, one was a Ernest David Copson who was married to Hattie Copson and they moved to Marcus Hook to set up the American Viscose Factory.
Muriel was their Daughter.

I hope this helps -

My wife is a decendant of Ernest David Copson's brother, Menotti Charles Fredrick Copson
